Q2: How do I use the tracker?

Add the tracker to the Apple Find My app using a compatible Apple device, name the tracked asset, and securely attach the tracker to it. The asset’s latest available location can then be checked in the Find My app.

Q3: Does the tracker work with Android phones?

This model is designed for the Apple Find My network. Android phones cannot use the complete Apple Find My tracking functions. Please contact us if you require an Android-compatible or dual-system tracking solution.

Q4: Does it require a SIM card, GPS module, or monthly fee?

No SIM card or independent cellular subscription is required. The tracker uses Bluetooth Low Energy and the Apple Find My network rather than a built-in cellular GPS connection.

Q5: Can it locate an asset anywhere in the world?

The tracker can update its location when it is detected by a nearby participating Apple device. Coverage and update frequency depend on the availability of Apple Find My network devices in the surrounding area.

Q6: Is the location updated continuously?

No. This is not a continuous real-time GPS tracker. Location updates depend on nearby Find My network devices, network conditions, and the operating environment.

Q7: Can I make the tracker play a sound?

Yes. When the tracker is within Bluetooth range, the user can activate its built-in buzzer through the Find My app to help locate the attached item.

Q8: What does the IPX6 rating mean?

IPX6 means the enclosure is resistant to powerful water splashes. It is suitable for daily use and occasional exposure to water, but it should not be submerged or cleaned under high-pressure industrial washing conditions.

Q9: How can the tracker be attached to medical equipment?

Depending on the equipment, it can be installed using double-sided adhesive, a protective holder, cable ties, a key ring, or a customized mounting accessory. The installation position should not block controls, labels, ventilation openings, or routine maintenance access.

Q10: Will the tracker damage the surface of the equipment?

The tracker itself will not normally damage the equipment. However, the mounting material should be selected according to the equipment surface. For sensitive surfaces, we recommend using a removable holder instead of permanent adhesive.

Q11: Can the battery be replaced?

Please confirm according to the selected model. If the product uses a replaceable coin-cell battery, the battery can be replaced without replacing the complete tracker.

Q12: How long does the battery last?

Battery life depends on the battery capacity, buzzer usage, environmental temperature, Bluetooth activity, and operating conditions. Please refer to the confirmed specification sheet for the rated battery life of the final model.

Q13: Can one buyer manage multiple trackers?

Multiple trackers can be added and individually named in the Find My app. For large-scale commercial deployment, account allocation, device registration, asset numbering, and access responsibility should be planned before installation.

Q14: Can this product replace a hospital RTLS system?

No. This tracker is suitable for economical asset recovery and latest-location visibility. It is not designed to provide continuous room-level or sub-meter positioning. Hospitals requiring precise indoor positioning should consider BLE AoA, UWB, or another dedicated RTLS solution.

Q15: Does the tracker collect patient or medical data?

The tracker does not need to collect medical records or patient information. We recommend linking it only to an equipment name, department, or internal asset number.

Q16: Can it be disinfected?

The housing may be wiped gently using a compatible cleaning agent. Do not immerse the tracker or use steam sterilization, autoclaving, ultrasonic cleaning, or highly corrosive disinfectants. The final cleaning method should follow the confirmed housing-material test results.
