The 7 main factors affecting the working current (service lifetime) of Bluetooth beacons
1. Transmission power: The greater the transmission power, the greater the average current.
2. Broadcast frequency: The higher the broadcast frequency, the greater the average current.
3. The working mechanism of the internal power supply: whether it is LDO or DCDC. In the DCDC working mode, the average current is relatively lower.
4. Whether the Bluetooth beacon uses an internal clock source or an external 32.768GHz crystal as the clock source; if an internal clock source is used, the average current of the Bluetooth beacon will be about 1uA higher.
5. Whether the Bluetooth beacon is in a connectable state; in the connectable state, the average current of the Bluetooth beacon will be higher.
6. Does the Bluetooth beacon only have broadcast packets or response packets at the same time? If there are broadcast packets and response packets at the same time, the average current will be higher.
7. Differences in Bluetooth chip solutions: the average current of Nordic, Dialog and other brand chips is relatively lower than that of domestic chips. But the price of domestic chips is relatively low. Can be selected according to actual application.
